INVITATION FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Lemmon Housing will receive sealed bids at the office of Lemmon Housing Authority 206 6^th St E., Lemmon, SD until April 2, 2008 at 12:30 pm local time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to:

Replace 64 windows on the outside parameter of Brick Square Villa at 206 6^th St E, Lemmon, SD according to Lemmon Housing Authority plans, specifications and contract documents.

Plans and Specifications. Specifications may be examined and obtained at no charge at the Lemmon Housing Office; 206 6^th St E; Lemmon, SD 57638 or by calling 605-374-5963.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bank draft in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid or a Bid Bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the bid. Such bid bond or check shall be guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the award or contract, if awarded, will be made to the lowest responsible BIDDER. No BIDDER will be considered responsible unless he is known to be reliable and skilled in work of a similar nature to that covered by the contract, and has sufficient capital to meet all obligations to be incurred in carrying out the work.
